The technical director of Barcelona SC, César Farías, referred to the possible incorporation of Vitinho in an interview with El Canal del Fútbol. The Venezuelan strategist showed optimism regarding the negotiation and assured that the agreement is very close to being finalized.
“I think they can close it today, they are very close,” said Farías, making it clear that the conversations have progressed positively in the last few hours and that the signing could be defined shortly, pending the latest contractual details.
The coach also explained how the economic aspect of the operation has been structured, given the doubts of the fans. “People wonder how they are going to bring in this great player and what they don’t know is that the people and the club that want him to come work with us pay half the salary,” he revealed, confirming that the club of origin will assume 50% of the salary.
Finally, Farías did not hide his enthusiasm for the team’s formation and highlighted the footballer’s conditions. “That has just been finalized and I am excited about how we have put ourselves together. This player played in São Paulo, in the Mexican league, he is young and has a goal,” he concluded, highlighting the experience and projection of the possible bullfighter reinforcement.
