Alexander Zverev is fighting to reach the final again at the Australian Open this Friday. The 28-year-old will face world number one Carlos Alcaraz from Spain in the semi-finals at 4.30 a.m. CET (Eurosport). Both have played against each other a total of twelve times so far and the balance is even at 6:6. Two years ago, Zverev prevailed in four sets in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open. Last year Zverev only lost in the final against Jannik Sinner.
The Italian will meet record Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic from Serbia in the second semi-final at 9.30 a.m. CET (Eurosport). The final takes place on Sunday.
