Quarterback legend Tom Brady stands by his former coach in the debate over Bill Belichick’s induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Brady described the decision not to consider the multi-champion coach this year as “ridiculous”. If Belichick is not accepted at the first opportunity, no coach should be given this honor.

ESPN had reported the day before that Belichick would have to wait for entry into the Hall of Fame despite his achievements in the NFL.
The 73-year-old won the Super Bowl six times with the New England Patriots and quarterback Brady, and he won two more titles as defensive coordinator for the New York Giants.

In 2015, Brady was suspended because of the so-called “Deflategate” and the Patriots were fined millions. At that time, the team let air out of the balls in the semifinals against the Indianapolis Colts and, according to the NFL, gained an advantage.
