Montval-sur-Loir Badminton: Local Players Shine

The COC badminton hosted the third youth departmental trophy (minors and cadets), last weekend at the Orion hall. More than 100 young people, boys and girls, from different Sarthe clubs, had registered. This tournament allowed the best to qualify for the regional championships.

At the same time, the Parigné-l’Évêque club welcomed minibads, chicks and young children.

Seventeen young Montvalois distinguished themselves.

Minibad : Liza 2e.

Chicks: Léna and Lola, in Top A, 3es ; Axel and Fabio, in Top A, 2es.

Benjamins : Laurie et Astrid, 2es in Top A; Antonin and Victor win Top A; in mixed, Laurie and Victor, Top A semi-finalists.

Minimes: Quentin and Léo, 2es a Top C; Nino and Lucas 3es ; mixed, Agathe and Axel, 2es a Top B.

Cadets: Célia and Zoé win Top B; Allan and Lucas, 3es in Top D; Célia and Lucas, 2es in mixed Top C; Zoé and Jules dominate the Top D in mixed.

Charles Hubert, president of the COC badminton, declares: “ The final result is very positive: nine podiums for our young people ».

Note: fourth departmental youth trophy in Écommoy, Saturday February 7 and Sunday February 8.
