The footballer’s entire salary will be assumed by the Dutch club, which has an option to purchase 50% of the player’s rights for 2 million euros. Subsequently, FC Porto will be able to buy back 40% of that 50% for 3 million euros, according to the statement issued by Porto.

Before joining FC Utrecht, the Catalan striker (Castelledefels) renewed his contract with the Portuguese club for one more season, until June 30, 2028. Alarcón, 21, played in the youth ranks of Espanyol and was then transferred to FC Barcelona. He made his professional debut, in the first team, in Barça’s cup win against Ceuta (5-0), replacing Raphinha.
