After bringing a breath of fresh air to the Euroleague last season, Paris Basket is plunged into slump when it comes time to host Real Madrid on Tuesday (9 p.m.) and after having been largely renewed last summer.
How far away it seems this last season in C1, with a presence in the quarter-finals in the first season at this level, after eliminating Real on home soil in the play-ins.
Ten months later, when it was time to welcome the Merengue, Paris was stuck in 18th place, with 16 defeats in 23 matches, including two last week when the start of the year had shown signs of progress.
The second, at home against Dubai, caused a lot of headaches in terms of form (99-79) and substance, as Paris suffered for 40 minutes, far from the team which, last season, imposed its rhythm, its aggressiveness and its collective.
The Paris Basketball – Real Madrid match is scheduled to kick off at 9 p.m. this Tuesday, January 27. The meeting will be followed live on television on the L’Équipe channel and on Skweek.
