Juan Carlos Ferrerowhich starts a new professional stage with golfer Ángel Ayorahe acknowledged that It’s hard to see sitting in a chairon television, like Carlos Alcaraz, whom he has trained for seven years, competes in the Australian Open.
What you feel is not easy
“It is difficult to see Carlos compete and your entire team sitting in the chair. It is not easy what you feel,” Ferrero said in an interview in Ten Golf.
I needed a change of scenery. I received offers to continue in tennis, but the opportunity arose to work with Ángel Ayora in a world that I know and like.
“I am very happy with his game, because he is winning and has not yet lost a set. He is at a high level. Congratulations to him and let him continue,” he said.

Regarding his new project, Ferrero stressed that he needed “a change of scenery. I received offers to continue in tennis, on the ATP and WTA circuits, but the opportunity arose to work with Ángel in a world that I know and like,” said Ferrero, who rejected comparing Alcaraz with Ángel Ayora.
Tennis is my life and it will continue to be so because I continue working at my academy.
“Ángel has just started and Carlos has been there for several years. Alcaraz is more extroverted. They are different characters. Carlos is among the best and Ángel can go very high,” added Alcaraz’s former coach.
Ferrero announces new job
“Tennis is my life and it will continue to be so because I continue working in my academy,” Ferrero clarified that he faces his transition to golf as “an experimental period.”
