Manchester United won 3-2 on their visit to Arsenal on matchday 23 of the Premier League and climbed to fourth place with 38 points, 12 behind their current rival, who is still the leader. Manchester City is second with 46 along with Aston Villa, who beat Newcastle United 2-0 away today.
The Red Devils began losing due to an own goal by Lisandro Martínez at 29′. Bukayo Saka found Martin Odegaard in the visiting area, the Norwegian hit a first-time left foot shot and the ball deflected off the back of the Argentine defender, who was struggling for position with the Dutchman Jurrien Timber.

It seemed like they were ready to go ahead with Arsenal, but they lost it in the 87th minute. The Brazilian Matheus Cunha received with time and space outside the area and sealed the 3-2 with a shot that was as precise as it was powerful. It was the Gunners’ first home defeat of the season.
