European Stocks: Afternoon Gains, Milan & Frankfurt Lag

(Teleborsa) – European stock markets improved in the afternoondespite the trade tensions between Europe and the United States and the continuous declarations on the conquest of Greenland by US President Donald Trump, in tandem with the positive opening of Wall Street after yesterday’s plunge.

Trump, who just spoke at the World Economic Forum in Davos, said he wanted immediate negotiations to discuss the acquisition of Greenlandbut that he will not resort to the use of force. According to the US leader, only the United States can guarantee the security of the island.
