Ajax and Osasuna have reached an agreement in principle for Raúl Moro, reports the Spanish Marca. It would be a permanent transfer and, according to the Spanish medium, the winger has already personally agreed with the club.
Ajax paid a sum of eleven million euros to Real Valladolid for the attacker last summer, but Moro was unable to make his mark in Amsterdam. According to transfer journalist Matteo Moretto, Osasuna, Mallorca, Espanyol, Villarreal and Real Sociedad wanted to acquire the Spaniard, with the former now appearing to be his next club.
Osasuna was also in the race for the 23-year-old Spaniard last summer, but Ajax won. In January, the Spanish mid-engine signed up for Moro again and this time the club seems to have made the cut. Due to the financial strength to buy and convince the player, Osasuna now has the best credentials. The Amsterdammers would rather not see the winger leave on a rental basis and want to wear Moro out permanently.
According to Transfer market Moro has a transfer value of seven million euros. The Spanish youth international has played 21 games for Ajax so far, scoring one goal and marking twice. The attacker still has a contract until the summer of 2030 in Amsterdam.
