We can see a little more clearly on the face of the French selection for the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games. 17 days before the next Winter Olympics, which will be held from Friday February 6 to Sunday February 22, 2026, the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) revealed this Tuesday 52 new athletes who will represent the French delegation in biathlon, bobsleigh, Nordic combined, ice hockey, ski jumping, short-track, skeleton, ski mountaineering, cross-country skiing, freestyle skiing and snowboarding.
Among the newly selected, skier Perrine Laffont who, at 27, will be competing in her 4th Games. Still injured in a knee a few days ago, the 2018 Olympic champion in moguls will be part of the French freestyle ski team which will compete at the Livigno site. She will be accompanied in particular among the men by Benjamin Cavet and
To get back on his feet, Laffont could resume competition in the European Cup, in Megève this weekend. The Pyrenees returned to skiing two weeks ago and is currently training in Combloux. She will aim for a new podium.

Ski mountaineering : Margot Ravinel, Pablo Giner Dalmasso
Biathlon : Jeanne Richard, Emilien Claude, Oscar Lombardot.
Nordic combined : Marco Heinis, Laurent Mühlethaler.
Ski jumping : Jules Chervet, Valentin Foubert, Enzo Milesi. The selection will be completed by three female athletes and announced on January 26.
Cross-country skiing : Delphine Claudel, Mélissa Gal, Léonie Perry, Julie Pierrel, Lucas Chanavat, Jules Chappaz, Mathis Desloges, Richard Jouve, Hugo Lapalus, Jules Lapierre, Théo Schely. The selection will be completed by two female athletes and announced on January 26.
Freeskiing : Kim Dumont-Zanella, Sivignon Timothy. France, holder of two quotas for women, renounces one of the two quotas.
Boss Ski : Camille Cabrol, Marie Duaux, Perrine Laffont, Benjamin Cavet. Thibaud Mouille.
Ski cross : Mylène Ballet-Baz, Marielle Berger-Sabbatel, Anouck Errard, Jade Grillet-Aubert, Youri Duplessis-Kergomar

Expected to be major medal providers, the biathlon Blues are now complete: Jeanne Richard, Émilien Claude and Oscar Lombardot obtaining the last three remaining quotas, after a first selection of nine athletes in December.
In total, 12 biathletes – six men and six women – will travel to Anterselva, including headliners Lou Jeanmonnot, Julia Simon, Quentin Fillon Maillet, Éric Perrot and Émilien Jacquelin.
However, there will only be four bibs per gender for the individual events (individual, sprint, pursuit the first week and mass start at the end of the fortnight).
In ski-cross, Marielle Berger-Sabbatel and Youri Duplessis-Kergomard are on the shortlist and are likely to win French medals, as is the young Romain Allemand in snowboarding, after his victory in the slopestyle World Cup in Laax on Sunday.
A final list must be released on January 23 to know the entire French delegation, including in particular the names of the alpine skiers.
