Club Brugge are clearly under pressure as they travel to Kairat Almaty – Astana. But Romeo Vermant wants to stay positive.
Club Brugge is going through a very difficult period: the Blauw & Zwart have lost two games in a row, in Charleroi and against the RAAL at home. Traveling to Astana against Kairat Almaty, the Gazelles must recover.
“It’s not our habit to lose twice in a row,” admits Romeo Vermant. “This match against Kairat will be very important in this sense. If we want to stay in the running for the top 24, we have to get a result.”
Can Bruges do it?
A result, in other words: more than likely a victory. “I’m ready to play and take some playing time. Yes, I took a hit on Friday, but I can play Tuesday night,” says Vermant.
“We have not yet reached our best level this year. It is important to stay united, to look at ourselves in the mirror,” he adds. “And it will come eventually.”
