BCN Rhoon 3: Victory & Resilience

General

RHOON – Team 3 of BCN Rhoon played against Lansingerland on Friday, January 16 and made it an exciting match. The team consisted of Priscilia, Elma, Sander, Erik and substitute Martin. After the earlier 7-1 defeat, they were clearly eager for revenge.

The men’s doubles started strongly: Martin and Sander played sharply and won both matches. The women’s doubles were exciting, but went to Lansingerland. Score: 2-2.

The mixed doubles followed. The first two games were divided, so 3-3. It all came down to the last two games – and they were real crackers. Both sides went to three sets with long rallies and a lot of tension.

Elma and Sander kept a cool head and took control of their party. Martin and Priscilia fought for all they were worth, but narrowly lost. Final score: 4-4.

A nice improvement compared to the previous 7-1 and an evening full of battle and team spirit!
