If you are a fan of “Stranger Things”, then you absolutely need to rewatch the latest episode of Saturday Night Live. Not only for the usual gags that the program gives us, but also because the host was none other than Mike Wheeler… oops, sorry, we meant Finn Wolfhard.
The actor of the successful Netflix series, which recently ended, was in fact one of the hosts of the episode which aired yesterday, Saturday 17 January 2026. What perhaps many did not expect was to find, in addition to him, two other great protagonists. Yes, because at the end of his monologue his two set colleagues Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin intervened and hugged him. «So yes, here is my new me – he says jokingly about his career as a child prodigy in the series, up until now, when he is 23 years old -, the man I am. “Stranger Things” is over and I’m not a child anymore», said Finn, before the other two actors joined in, saying: «And neither are we».
A much appreciated mini reunion, which also continued at the afterparty in New York. Here Finn was seen arriving wearing a bright red jacket and dark blue trousers, paired with white Adidas shoes and a dark baseball hat. After him also Matarazzo, with a beige sweater over a simple white t-shirt, light jeans and white sneakers, and McLaughlin, who chose a midnight blue sweater from which the white collar of a shirt emerged, minimal black wide-legged trousers and a pair of dark-toned Uggs.
