Archery: Challenge in Cardano al Campo
In the province of Varese, in the eighth Challenge, the athletes of Solaro Archers of the Sun Company they won seven medalsfirst of all five in individual events: in the Olympic one the silver one with the student Greta Piao which placed third in the Seventh Challenge held on 20 and 21 December. At the Palaravizza in Pavia in the competition organized by the Minerva Archers, the Brianza archers won seven medals: four individual and three with teams. In the master category Simone Canzi and Massimo Marenghi (Arco Monza and Brianza) won, in order, gold and bronze and then gold with the team completed by Maurizio Parravicini. In the compound the senior archers Andrea Beraldo and Alessandro Casiello (Comp.Arc.del Sole Solaro) returned to the venue with the gold and bronze medals around their necks respectively. Finally, the women’s master team of the Polisportiva Besanese of Besana Brianza made up of Monica Redaelli, Letizia Mazzupappa, Maria Carla Corti won silver.
