During this time, the cadets participated in the bi-departmental tournament of Coulounieix-Chamiers. On the boys’ side, gold medals for Nicolas Jaubard (-46 kg) and Nathan Chastanet (-60 kg), both from AJDP La Roche-Chalais, while Yanis Bouthier (AJDP Périgueux, -60 kg) took the third step of the podium. Oscar Moulet (AJDP Trélissac) and Zakaria Guibert (AJDP Périgueux) were unable to place in the under 66 kg category, while Enzo Baptista (AJDP Terrasson, -90 kg), ill, was unable to be present.
For the girls, three first places for Iliana Ouaabo (AJDP Bergerac, -57 kg), Victoria Moulet (AJDP Trélissac, -52 kg) and Maëlle Pinto (AJDP Trélissac, -44 kg) and four silver medals, which went to Chloé Bourrié (AJDP Lalinde, -52 kg), Gwendoline Delengéas (AJDP Boulazac, -48 kg), Éloïse Dubois (AJDP Boulazac, -63 kg) and Maïa Villiers (AJDP Montpon, -70 kg). Kélya Crabanat (AJDP Saint-Germain-et-Mons, -52 kg) and Lilou Bournet (AJDP Terrasson, + 70 kg) took bronze and only Maëly Armandis (AJDP Périgueux, -52 kg) did not rank. The juniors will try to do as well next weekend during the interdepartmental championships.
