A quick return of Noa Lang to Eindhoven is not obvious at the moment, but PSV is ‘keeping its ears and eyes open’. This is what the Eindhovens Dagblad writes, after a rumor went around about an attempt by the national champion to bring Lang back.
On Tuesday morning, a rumor spread on X that PSV had asked Lang about a return. It was stated that the attacker would not want to play in the Eredivisie again at the moment. A few hours later, the ED comes with news after making inquiries. For example, it is stated that a quick PSV return of Lang is ‘not necessarily plausible’, but that the Eindhoven team will keep their ears and eyes open.
The ED adds that PSV maintains regular contact with its former players and their management to inform themselves of their situation at their new club. In recent weeks, Lang has been regularly linked with a winter departure from Napoli, despite the fact that he came over from PSV last summer. Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and Besiktas are all also said to be interested in Lang.
Lang briefly fought his way back into the starting line-up at Napoli, but in recent weeks he has increasingly come on as a substitute. In the Italian champions’ last two matches, against Hellas Verona and Internazionale, Lang was important with an assist.
