The District Secretariat of Culture, Recreation and Sports (SDCRD) invites citizens to enjoy ‘Gigantes del Balón’, a children’s sports workshop that is part of the programming of the Chapinero Felicidad Center. This activity is aimed at girls and boys between 10 and 15 years old, and seeks to offer a comprehensive training experience through the practice of basketball, combining technical learning with personal and social development.

During the session, participants will learn basic basketball fundamentals such as ball handling, passing, throwing and teamwork, in a playful environment adapted to their age.
In addition to the physical component, this workshop strengthens values such as respect, solidarity, commitment and perseverance, training not only athletes, but people with a sense of community and well-being.
The class takes place in the Multipurpose Arena of the Felicidad Chapinero Center (3rd floor), at 10:00 am, with free entry until capacity is reached. Each session is guided by professionals in physical activity and sports, with experience in children’s training processes.
This is an opportunity for boys and girls to strengthen their health, discover their sporting talents and share with others in a safe, stimulating and happiness-filled space.
