Authorities seized from the Sinaloa Cartel an arsenal consisting of 34 firearms and 10 thousand cartridges, after a search of a property in Tijuana.
The seizure took place on Protection Civil Street in the El Niño neighborhood, located east of the city, on the border with Tecate.
How did the assurance happen?
They found the place due to an anonymous complaint that alerted a group of soldiers, federal agents and the State Force, about the presence of weapons and narcotics in a home.
During a preventive tour, state agents detected the home with the door open and weapons visible from the outside, as well as a strong smell of marijuana.
The property was secured and, with a court order from the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), The corresponding search was carried out, reported the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Baja California.

It was detailed that they found a total of 26 rifles and eight pistols, in addition to 55 magazines and 10 thousand useful cartridges of different calibers.
They also seized vests and tactical equipment, bags with marijuana, vape pens, and the property used as storage for the arsenal.
The vests bore the initials “FER”, identified by authorities as the Ranchero Special Forces, a criminal cell linked to Franklin Ernesto Huezo Hernández, “El Ranchero”, identified by the authorities as an operator of the “La Mayiza” faction of the Sinaloa Cartel in Tijuana and Tecate.
According to official information, this group maintains a violent presence in several colonies that disputes with rival organizations; conflict that has generated homicides and public threats.
