Tuna Luso, the team that competes in Group 11 of the Copinha, issued a note of repudiation (read below) against a hotel in Brodowski (SP) due to the fact that the establishment had turned off the air conditioning in the athletes’ rooms last night, the night before the game against Botafogo-SP. The hotel, in turn, responded (read below) stating that the players “touched terror” and said that the incident occurred in the early hours of the 7th.
UOL found that the situation was calmed after action by the FPF (São Paulo Football Federation). The entity placed a security guard on site to avoid further conflicts, and no abnormalities were recorded after the incident. Tuna continues to stay at the establishment.
What did Tuna say?
The club stated that the delegation was surprised by the air conditioning units in the rooms used by the athletes being turned off. The Hotel Martini’s attitude, according to the note, “compromised the rest and physical recovery of those involved.”
