The moment of truth. Cameroon and Morocco face off this Friday evening (8 p.m.) to secure the second ticket for the semi-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, after Senegal qualified against Mali earlier in the evening (0-1).
On one side or the other, these two big powers of African football present themselves with all their weapons. On the Morocco side, Parisian Achraf Hakimi is, unsurprisingly, the starter and captain. It is exactly the same starting lineup as against Tanzania, in the round of 16, which is lined up for the Atlas Lions.
Only one replacement on the Cameroon side: Mahamadou Nagida replaces Darlin Yongwa.
The composition of Cameroon (3-5-2): Epassy – Malone, Kotto, Tolo (c) – Tchamadeu, Avom, Baleba, Namaso, Nagida – Mbeumo, Kofane
The composition of Morocco (4-3-3): Bono – Hakimi, Aguerd, Masina, Mazraoui – El Khannouss, El Aynaoui, Saibari – Diaz, Kaabi, Ezzalzouli
