Not exactly the introduction that new coach Liam Rosenior had in mind. On a visit to Fulham, the T1 saw his left back Cucurella swallow a stupid red card after just 20 minutes. In the second period Chelsea could no longer cope and suffered a bitter defeat. Harry Wilson was the great atmosphere at Rosenior’s welcome party.

All eyes on the stands in Fulham.

Liam Rosenior took a seat there to view his Chelsea. The coach of Mike Penders and Diego Moreira at Strasbourg had to steer the shaky ship of The Blues to safe havens.

But that assignment soon became a lot more difficult.

Marc Cucurella took an avoidable red after moderate pushing and pulling as the last man. The ten of us visitors suddenly found themselves faced with a difficult evening.

That certainly became the case when Raul Jimenez headed the opening goal hard into the goal. His celebration was just as loud: he threw himself on the turf like a fish out of water.

Delap seemed to be going to save the furniture for his new coach, but Harry Wilson completely spoiled Rosenior’s introduction to his new employer.

The choppy waters are far from out of sight for Londoners.

Check out the goals (and unique celebration):
