Usyk vs Fury: Fury’s Announcement After Two Losses?

“2026 will be my comeback. I was on the sidelines for a while, but now I’m back – 37 years old and still ready to fight. There’s nothing better than punching men in the face and getting paid for it,” Fury writes on his social networks. In recent days, he has published several training videos.

In January 2025 – less than a month after his second duel with Oleksandr Usik – Fury announced his retirement from boxing for the fourth time in his career. The Englishman was extremely dissatisfied with the outcome of the fight and refused to accept the judges’ decision.

Later, Fury emphasized that the only thing that could get him back in the ring was another fight with Usika.

News of Fury’s possible return appeared as early as July 2025, when the Englishman published a misleading post on his social networks about a supposedly confirmed trilogy fight against Usika. The Ukrainian denied this information soon after, but stated that he would not be against such a duel.

Also, it has been reported for several months that Fury could finally meet in the ring with another British superstar, Anthony Joshua.

The 37-year-old Englishman has had 37 fights in his professional career, won 34 of them – 24 by knockout – lost twice and drew once. Both defeats for Fury were caused by Usyk.
