A record-breaking 349 entries from 77 clubs were received for the traditional badminton tournament in the first week of the year, which is one of the largest tournaments in the region.
The TV Metjendorf organizing team evaluated 521 games in three performance classes in 24 hours on the two days of the competition. “Despite the magnitude of such a tournament, thanks to the tournament management, this sporting event ran quickly and in an exemplary manner,” praised Hans Georg Schimschal from TV Metjendorf, who launched the tournament in 1983.
