Celebrated a successful sporting debut into the new year Daniela Zurek from the TSV Heimaterde Mülheim at the Münster winter tournament 2026 last weekend. She confidently secured the title in the women’s singles A field with four wins in the competition, which was held in a group of five:
21-12, 21-14 vs Ricarda Schankin (TuS Tengern)
21-14, 19-21, 21-9 vs Josefine Berg (TuS Tengern)
21-18, 21-15 vs Isabel Kiessling (SC Münster 08)
21-15, 21-19 vs Lena Lindkamp (1. SC Bad Oeynhausen)
Reached A in women’s doubles Daniela together with Elara Bliß (TV Emsdetten) also reached the final, in which the two had to admit defeat to Doreen Kortmann (BC Phönix Hövelhof)/Verena Kortmann (DJK Everswinkel) with 16-21 and 17-21.
In Düsseldorf at the New Year’s tournament stood teammate Luisa Ducree on the court. She came second in the women’s singles A. In the end they had three wins and only one defeat:
