Despite health problems, Marko Tolič scored five goals in this year’s domestic competition. As well as Nino Marcelli, Andraž Šporar and Mykola Kucharevyč.
The Croatian midfielder is perhaps the most skilled footballer in Vladimír Weiss’s current squad. He tramples defenders with almost unstoppable moves that are strikingly reminiscent of the finesse of futsal players.

Every time he is on the field, the opposing defense is on alert. Tolič knows not only how to score, but also how to conjure up an unexpected pass with which he sends a teammate into a clear chance.
After all, last season he prepared fourteen goals for his teammates in this way.
Even then, the protege of the famous Dynamo Zagreb academy was in the sights of several foreign clubs. In the end, however, he stayed in Slovan, where he has been working for 2.5 years.
However, it seems that now may be the time for the 29-year-old playboy to leave. According to the Polish media, Wisla Plock, the leader and rookie of the highest competition there, showed interest in Tolič.
“Wisla wants to add more reinforcements to the team in the winter. More and more names appear in the media. One of them is Marko Tolič from Slovan,” the portal writes gol24.pl.
He points out that Tolič came to Slovan for a million euros and played with the team in the group stage of the Champions League.
Tolič has a contract with Slovan until the summer of this year. So, if he did not transfer in the winter and at the same time did not extend his contract at Tehelno polí, he could leave for free in a few months.
In the case of Tolic’s departure, the offensive strength of Slovan could drop significantly during this transfer period. There are also rumors about the real departure of Marcelli, for whom the Whites could collect a record transfer fee.
