Bronze medal with detachment for the advisor of the Brothers of Italy and former retired officer Stefano Scarascia (94,073 euros). Here is the triad of Rosignano politicians who earn the most. The data are extrapolated from the 2025 tax returns, therefore relating to the year 2024, published in the “Transparent Administration” sector of the municipal website. In some cases (like that of Testa) the document is missing, therefore the reference is to 730 of the previous year.
The allowances
In all this it must be kept in mind that the salaries of mayors and councilors have increased thanks to a provision of the 2022 Budget Law which provided for a gradual increase (culminating in 2024) leading to a significant increase in allowances for local administrators with the amounts adjusted as a percentage of the size of the Municipality. The amount of the allowance for 2024, in addition to being indicated on the Municipality’s website, is counted among the overall income together with that deriving from work.
Mayor and council
In the 2025 Physical Persons of Claudio Marabotti, cardiologist, a total income of 222,279 euros is recorded. And the function allowance for 2024 is 29,723.08 euros. Among the other members of the council, the highest income is that of Mario Settino. Teaching profession, the deputy mayor of Rosignano declared a total income for 2024 of 54,457 euros (15,632.48 euros in allowance). Followed by the Councilor for Education and Social Affairs, as well as teacher, Cristina Santinelli with 45,349 euros (6,395.11 euros in compensation); the Sports councilor and judo champion Giulia Quintavalle with 28,065 euros (12,790.21 euros in compensation); the councilor for the Budget and accountant Susanna Masoni with 24,980 euros (10,742.11 euros in compensation); the councilor for Commerce, former president of the Cgn coop and publisher Giacomo Cantini with 17,234 euros (9,655.36 euros in compensation); the councilor for Culture and advertising graphic designer Giulio Rotelli with 16,639 euros (12,790.21 euros in compensation) and the former Environment Councilor and designer Roberto Repeti with 14,756 euros (12,790.21 euros in compensation).
The first councilors
As for the municipal councilors of the Municipality of Rosignano Marittimo, at the top are Roberto Testa (197,592 euros declared in 2024 relative to 2023), Stefano Scarascia of Fratelli d’Italia (94,073 euros) and the psychologist former director of the Local Health Authority Carlo Carriero of Rosignano nel Cuore (64,454 euros).
