- Getting to know badminton and BC Zeewally is free of charge. The first four consecutive evenings of play are free.
- Membership and contributions are valid for one year. The contribution is divided over four equal quarters. The amount of the contribution can be adjusted annually at the AGM to the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
- Contribution collections will be made on or around January 10 (Q1), April 10 (Q2), July 10 (Q3), October 10 (Q4). For other collections (e.g. competition fees, training contribution, club clothing), substantiation will be provided upon implementation.
- The membership fee is calculated pro rata upon registration and will be collected together with the one-off registration fee.
- BC Zeewally makes a loan racket available free of charge for new members for a maximum of two months. Rackets remain the property of BC Zeewally and must be left in the hall. No rights can be derived from availability and use.
- A beginners training and explanation can be organized upon request. A small additional contribution is requested for this.
- Competitive players pay an additional contribution for participating in the competition. This contribution is charged per team by Badminton Nederland and distributed pro rata among the team members by BC Zeewally. The amount of the team contribution is determined annually by Badminton Netherlands.
- Members who train with the competition players are considered competition players.
- Youth members who play entirely with the seniors are considered senior members.
- All members of BC Zeewally also become members Badminton Netherlands.
Termination of membership
Recreational members can cancel membership of the association as of July 1 or January 1 with a notice period of at least 4 weeks due to processing at Badminton Nederland. In connection with the competition season, competition players can only cancel membership for the new season as of July 1, taking into account a notice period of 4 weeks. New members can only cancel their membership if they have been a member for at least 1 year from the registration date.
Cancellation of membership must be done in writing. A letter or email can be sent to the membership administration atledenadministratie@zeewally.nl.
Before membership can be canceled, the contribution obligation must be met. If the member does not cancel in time, a payment obligation arises for the entire new season.
