The regional under 14 5-a-side football tournament organized by LND FVG kicks off next weekend. The event is reserved for players born in 2012 and 2013, but the four U15 women’s teams will also be able to field the 2011 class.
Sixty-two participating clubs, divided in the first phase into 16 groups, the last two of which feature the Carnico teams, namely Cavazzo, Mobilieri and Villa (Group Q), Velox, Tarvisio and Arta Terme (Group R).
The teams in each group will compete against each other in one-way matches. The first and second placed teams from all groups, equal to 32 teams, will advance to the next phase.
The second phase will take place on Sunday 18 January, where the teams will be divided into 8 groups, with the 16 qualifiers taking part in the third phase seven days later.
The last act, featuring 8 teams, will be held at the end of March in Grado.
Each match will take place in two halves lasting 12 minutes each, with direction entrusted to a FIGC/AIA referee.
Returning to the first phase, the Carnico teams will face each other Sunday 11 January in the Sutrio gym.

Compared to the other groups, the “Carnia” groups are made up of 3 teams (instead of 4). Consequently, the resting teams will play each other, so that in this case too, three games each will be scheduled.
The first classified Q and second R will then play on Sunday 18th at 4.45pm in Group B of the Palmanova draw, while the first R and second Q will be involved from 1pm in Group B of the Manzano draw.
