The first team of Alimerka Oviedo Baloncesto together with its president, Fernando Villabella, made the traditional toast to the new year after training today, Saturday. In a relaxed atmosphere after practice and before facing tomorrow’s game against Fibwi Palma, the players and coaching staff have conspired to continue the good dynamics of the past few days.
Villabella, for his part, addressed a few words to the team. “Continued to win, no, I was joking,” he broke the ice after the toast. «I was thinking about all the people who come here every fortnight, more than 5,000 people. This toast is for them, we have to keep that number of fans coming here, that is the important thing this new year,” Villabella wished.
“Oviedo is not a city with a great basketball tradition, so you are making history, continue making history,” he urged the team.
