The year 2026 has kicked off with significant financial challenges for Santos Football Club, as the team has seen three key sponsors depart, including their primary shirt sponsor.
The departure of 7K, which prominently featured on the most prestigious area of the club’s jersey, marks a ample loss. Their sponsorship agreement was slated to continue until April 2027. The brand’s presence extended beyond the men’s senior team,also adorning the kits of the women’s football and futsal squads.
In an official statement, Santos characterized the termination of the 7K partnership as a “mutual agreement.” The club expressed gratitude for the collaboration during the 2025 season, acknowledging the shared journey. The statement also indicated that contractual obligations would still be fulfilled in the upcoming weeks.
Adding to the financial strain, Havan, previously featured on the front hem of the team’s uniform, and Viva Sorte, whose logo was displayed on the back of the shirt, have also concluded their sponsorships.These contracts were not renewed upon their expiration.
Despite these sponsorship losses, the Santos squad was observed training in uniforms bearing the logos of all three former sponsors on friday. The team resumed training sessions that afternoon, commencing preparations for the upcoming 2026 season.
Club management is now in a race against time to secure new partnerships, with the acquisition of a new master sponsor being the top priority.Santos is set to make its debut in the Campeonato Paulista against Novorizontino on January 10th at 4:00 PM Brasília time, with the match taking place at the iconic Vila Belmiro stadium.
