Following the fact that the Club acceded to Eric Nottage’s request to leave the ADA after the match against Roanne, the staff began looking for a player for the rest of the season.
After studying several avenues, the choice fell on Myles Mack (Position 1, 32 years old, USA, 1m78) in order to strengthen the outside line and in particular to support Talis Soulhac in the playmaker position.
After completing his university studies at Rutgers (NCAA), Myles discovered Europe where he played in different championships (1era and 2nd division) in which he was dominant, notably in Türkiye, Poland and Italy last season under the colors of Vigevano (2nd division). Also passing through Denain during the 2021-2022 season (11 games), Myles crossed paths with ADA on November 5, 2021 with 11 points and 5 assists to his credit that evening.
Arriving in France today, Myles was able to discover the VSF Sports Center and get to know his new teammates. Given the delays in obtaining the release letter, it is unlikely that Myles will be able to make his debut on Monday in the Coupe de France match against JL Bourg. On the other hand, we can count on him for the Centrico on January 11 at CO’Met!
We welcome him among us!
David Morabito’s reaction: “He is a player who will bring us quality in the pick and roll game. Myles is capable of making a team play while being a constant threat with a high-quality outside shot. He immediately expressed the desire to join us”
Julien Monclar’s reaction: “We are delighted to welcome Myles, he is a talented and experienced player who has ties to France. He is a player with real offensive talent and a very big shot. He immediately joined the project, he has the physique and the state of mind to help us very quickly”
