What persuaded you to choose TOGB?
Finch: “TOGB is a club that is known for training and promoting its own youth. That fits in perfectly with my vision on football. In addition, it is a real club club. I think that is important: as head coach I not only want to be involved with the first team, but also want to make a broader contribution to the club.”
Can you tell us something about your background and how that influences your approach?
Finch: “As a player, I have gained experience in professional football and at Second Division level. The coaches and clubs where I have played have shaped me: professionalism, tactical insight, but also the importance of fun and club culture. I bring that mix with me as a trainer: attacking, energetic and disciplined, with an eye for the person behind the player.”
What are your goals for the coming season?
Finch: “We want to continue the trend of recent years at Third Division level. There is a young, talented selection that can still make progress. I want us to play in a recognizable way and continue to build on the development of players and the team.”
How do you describe your playing style and tactical vision?
Finch: “Attacking football with a lot of energy, from a 4-3-3 system. Players must be flexible and given the freedom to be creative. We want to take initiative, apply high pressure and win matches with compelling football.”
What do you want to say to players and supporters?
Finch: “I am a trainer who is visible within the club and is more widely involved. Players know where they stand, and supporters should be proud of the team. My ambition is to create something together that the entire association recognizes.”
