Algeria, Burkina Faso and Sudan advanced to the last 16 rounds in Group E of the 35th African Cup of Nations.
Group E matches have been completed in the tournament hosted by Morocco by the Confederation of African Football.
Algeria beat Equatorial Guinea 3-1 with goals from Zinedine Belaid, Fares Chaibi and Ibrahim Maza. Emilio Nsue scored the goal for Equatorial Guinea.
Burkina Faso won 2-0 against Sudan with goals scored by Lassina Traore and Arsene Kouassi.
Algeria, which made it three out of three, qualified for the last 16 rounds as the group leader with 9 points. Burkina Faso took second place with 6 points and advanced to the next round. Sudan, with three points, made it to the last 16 rounds by securing a place among the top 4 third parties.

In Group F, Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Mozambique advanced to the round of 16.

Reigning champion Ivory Coast defeated Gabon 3-2 with goals scored by Jean-Philippe Krasso, Evann Guessand and Bazoumana Toure. Gabon’s goals were scored by Guelor Kanga and Denis Bouanga.
Christopher Operi from RAMS Başakşehir and Christ Inao Oulai from Trabzonspor in Ivory Coast, Mario Lemina from Galatasaray in Gabon, played for 90 minutes in the match.
Cameroon beat Mozambique 2-1 with goals from Feliciano Jone (own goal) and Christian Kofane. Geny Catamo scored Mozambique’s goal.
Olivier Kemen from RAMS Başakşehir stayed on the field for 90 minutes in Cameroon.
Reaching 7 points in the group, Ivory Coast qualified for the last 16 rounds as the leader with more goals. Cameroon, which ranked second, and Mozambique, which ranked among the top 4 thirds with 3 points, advanced to the last 16 rounds.
