In search of a new center forward, VfL Bochum is looking to Italy. The portal ‘trivenetogoal.it’ reports that the second division club has its eye on Daniel Fila (23) from FC Venice. The Czech moved from Slavia Prague to Venice for four million euros just under a year ago.
In Series B, Fila is usually only used as a joker and is therefore looking for a way out. His club only wants to give up the attacker if a suitable replacement comes along. Bochum signed three new center forwards last summer: Michael Obafemi (25), Ibrahim Sissoko (30) and Mathis Claricia (23). None of them are convincing so far, instead Philipp Hofmann (32) is still selected. In winter, Hofmann could face new competition from Fila.
