Olympic/world champions enter the campus and convey the spirit of sports with the power of role models. Members of the Changjun Binjiang badminton school team said that Huang Yaqiong, Wang Zhiyi and others focused on the path of growth, struggle and championship by adhering to their dreams, overcoming themselves and pursuing excellence, and demonstrated the spirit of Chinese athletes who are confident, tenacious, hard-working and brave to reach new heights. The athletes present today are all role models who have fought hard on the field, donned the national flag, brought glory to the motherland, and added color to the nation. Their tenacity and perseverance are the nutrients that Changbin students need to absorb most. I hope that the students will follow their example and integrate the fighting spirit on the field into classroom learning and daily growth. They will not be afraid of difficulties and shoulder heavy responsibilities, run hard on the track of seeking knowledge, and show their youthful vigor through hard work.

Changsha Changjun Binjiang Middle School was established in August 2016. It is a public junior and senior high school directly under the Changsha Municipal Education Bureau. Since its establishment, the school has always adhered to the education path of “integration of sports and education”, actively implemented the Hunan Province’s “all-staff sports and sports” requirements, and carried out mass sports activities such as “Campus Sports and Culture Festival”, “Fun Sports Meeting” and “The Principal Calls You to Run”, and is committed to cultivating new talents of the era with all-round development and core competencies. At present, the school has gradually formed three major education features: youth badminton, campus football, and technological innovation. It is not only a “National Healthy School Construction Unit” and “Hunan Province Civilized Campus”, but also has formed distinctive school-running characteristics and profound educational achievements in the field of competitive sports, especially badminton. It has successfully trained and sent outstanding students Wei Yaxin to the national badminton team, and was rated as “Hunan Province Sports (Badminton, Football) Traditional Characteristic School” and “Changsha Reserve Talent Badminton Base”.
