Scorer of the winning goal for Corinthians in the Copa do Brasil, Memphis Depay continues to shine off the pitch in 2025. Timão’s number 10 released a mini-documentary about the routine of Brazilian workers and their daily lives living in São Paulo.
The production entitled “Work a Lot” (“Work a lot”, in the free translation), shows the harsh routine experienced by workers in Brazil. The documentary features interviews with salespeople, truck drivers and bakers.
It is also possible to follow the daily life of Memphis in Brazil in production. The Dutch star recorded moments in restaurants, recording songs and also at Corinthians’ CT.
“Life is real, without filter. Every day is a battlefield, whether on the asphalt, on the lawn, at the microphone, in the studio or the daily work in the office. We face heavy things. My team, my family that I built on the streets and that I have at home. We are in this together. No one stops, no one backs down. There are no fairytale dreams, there is the daily struggle. This is life. Life is real”, says Memphis in an excerpt from the production.
Last week, after the Copa do Brasil title, Memphis had also released the song “Work a lot”, which is now available on the main audio platforms and was published by the player himself on his social networks.
This is not the first time that the Corinthians star has attacked the world of music. Memphis released the EP “Falando com as favelas” alongside MC Hariel and also provoked Neto, former Timão player and presenter, on the track “São Paulo Freestyle”.
