AS Roma’s 17-Minute Goal Blitz Secures Victory

The Argentinian Soulé opened the scoring in the 14th minute after an unsuccessful header by Genoa stopper Vásquez. French midfielder Koné made it 2-0 in five minutes with his first goal of the season.

In the 31st minute, Soulé was close to another goal, whose shot was stopped by goalkeeper Sommariva, but it was not enough for Ferguson’s stop. In the end, the guests only reduced thanks to the substitute nineteen-year-old striker Ekhator.

Genoa, after their third defeat in a row, is in 17th position, two points above the relegation zone.
