Bodrum Football Club Chairman of the Board of Directors Aşkın Demir announced that he decided to resign due to his health problems.

In his statement on the social media platform of the club’s US-based company

Noting that he will not be a candidate again for the chairmanship of the board of directors at the extraordinary general assembly planned to be held in January 2026 at Bodrumspor Sportif Eylemleri AŞ, Demir stated that he will transfer his club financially, debt-free, and financially and administratively acquitted in this process.

Emphasizing that he acted with the aim of adding value to Bodrum and Turkish football during his term of office, Demir thanked the shareholders, board members, technical team and football players, administrative staff, non-governmental organizations and fans in his statement.

Demir wished that the success of Bodrum Football Club would continue to increase and conveyed his wishes of success to the new board of directors that will take office after the general assembly.
