As a conclusion to an exceptional year 2025, PSG won seven new trophies on Sunday during the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony co-founded by a certain Jorge Mendes.
After the France Football Golden Ball, Tuttosport Golden Boy and FIFA The Best ceremonies, PSG was once again honored on Sunday evening in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) during the 16th edition of the Globe Soccer Awards, this ceremony co-founded in 2010 by the powerful Portuguese agent Jorge Mendes. The latter also received the agent of the year award on Sunday for the 13th time in 16 years…
But the star of the evening was PSG, who left with seven new trophies, including that of male club of the year 2025. Ousmane Dembélé logically won the main trophy for male player of the year (but not best striker, awarded to Lamine Yamal), while Vitinha won the prize for best midfielder and Désiré Doué left with the trophy for emerging player of the year.
Luis Enrique, the only Parisian absent from the ceremony
Not to be outdone, Luis Enrique was crowned best coach, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi best president and Luis Campos best sports director. Interestingly, PSG was largely present at the ceremony since Dembélé, Vitinha, Doué, Campos and Al-Khelaïfi attended it in person. The only one absent was Luis Enrique, still not very fond of these individual distinctions and who clearly had better things to do during his vacation.

Luis Campos: “It’s not a personal trophy, it’s the trophy of a top team. We play football and we are very happy with this new philosophy at the club. I want to thank my wife Paula, my daughters and of course my dear president. Thank you very much for this opportunity and this daily trust. I also want to thank our incredible coach and our players, who are also incredible. We work a lot and that has been the key to achieving this incredible season. »
Désiré Doué: “First of all, I want to thank the organization of the Globe Soccer Awards for inviting me. It’s a great honor for me to be here on stage. Then, I obviously want to thank my family, who are here this evening. That’s the most important thing for me: having the best parents in the world. The education you gave me is the greatest gift of my life. I feel proud, I feel grateful tonight. I feel grateful because I am living my dream. I am the happiest child in the world. I always wanted to be a professional footballer. Now I’m at one of the biggest clubs in the world. I also want to thank my teammates, including Ousmane (Dembélé) and Vitinha who are here this evening. Without you, this would not have been possible. We had an incredible season together. I also want to thank the coach, the staff, the sports director Luis Campos, whom I congratulate on his trophy, and of course my president Nasser (Al-Khelaïfi). I’m just happy to play football every day and I know that hard work and dedication will take me to the top of football. I am sure of it and I will continue to work to be the best version of myself. Thank you so much. »
Vitinha: “It’s a pleasure to be here and to be rewarded with this trophy. It means a lot to me. I want to thank the Globe Soccer organization. I also want to thank everyone at PSG, the president, our coach, my teammates, who were very important for this. I couldn’t have won this trophy without them. I also want to thank my national team, its president, its coach and my teammates. I also want to thank my agent Jorge (Mendes), who has been very important in my journey. And finally I want to thank my family and my wife, who is here this evening. It is very important to me that she is always present in my life, like my two adorable daughters, who are the sun of my life. I also want to thank my parents and my sister, who have always helped me. It’s a real honor to win this trophy. »
Nasser Al-Khelaïfi: “It’s an honor to be here with all these incredible people, these legends, these coaches, these leaders, these presidents, this tennis player (Novak Djokovic received an award, editor’s note). It’s truly incredible to be here after all this time working and this collective accomplishment. This trophy is not just for the president, it is for the club, for the sporting director, for our incredible coach, the best in the world, for our incredible players. We have stars, but they always work for the team. This trophy is also for our incredible supporters, for the staff who work behind the scenes, we have more than 600 employees at the club. Thank you to everyone, thank you to my family and my children, who are also here this evening. Thanks again to our supporters, who believe in us, who push us, who are always behind us, in victory and defeat. »
Ousmane Dembélé: “Good evening everyone. Sorry, my English is a little shaky so I’ll speak in French (laughs). First of all, I wanted to thank all the people who voted for me, the PSG team of course, the staff, the president, who was exceptional and who came to pick me up from Barcelona, of course the sports director Luis Enrique… uh sorry Luis Campos (laughs) and his sports director Luis Enrique (we don’t blame you Ousmane). And there you have it, I’m happy to have had all these individual trophies, even if I say it all the time, it’s the collective first. And I also wanted to thank all my family and my two best friends who are there: Moustapha Diatta and Dayot Upamecano. I’m enjoying every moment of this year 2025, I’ve practically taken all the individual trophies and here I am, living my best life. »
