NBA Brawl: Suns Win Amidst New Orleans Altercation

About two minutes before the end of the third quarter of the game between the Phoenix Suns and the New Orleans Pelicans, the game got out of control. After an offensive screen from Mark Williams, Jose Alvarado tried to break through defensively, pushed Williams away and was fouled for doing so. The decision caused dissatisfaction among Alvarado and was the starting point for an escalation.

As a result, Alvarado approached his opponent and pulled on his jersey. Williams responded with a push from behind. Both players then exchanged words before grabbing each other and exchanging several punches. Both landed a right hit before teammates intervened and broke up the situation.
