Fun Sports: Overcome Fear & Find Your Fit

Hello everyone,

I’m currently looking for a sport that I really enjoy in the long term and am hoping to get some ideas or experiences.

I used to fight, I generally enjoyed it, but I haven’t been involved in it for about 1.5 years now and I’m having a hard time getting back into it. I’m currently doing yoga, which I like because it really relaxes me.

I’ve also tried soccer and flag football. That was okay, but I notice that I compare myself a lot with others – especially in the team. If I’m not good or others are much better, it puts a lot of pressure on me. In general, I don’t feel particularly comfortable in groups, I wasn’t always well received in teams and then I quickly developed a fear of sport.

Nevertheless, I would like to find something that I enjoy, that keeps me fit and that doesn’t always focus on performance or competition.

Does anyone have any ideas for sports that are more individual or have little pressure to compare?

Or experiences with a similar feeling?
