Journalist and writer Armands Puče commented on the current relationship between himself and former hockey player Sanda Ozoliņa in the program “MVPersonība” produced by “Delfi.lv”.
It has already been announced that Puče and Ozoliņš are currently explaining their refusals in court. In 2002, the then National Hockey League player Ozoliņš created a golf course in Riga, while the sports journalist Puče became the director of the “Ozo Golf Club”. Puche left the post in 2022. The golf course is managed by “Golfs & Karti”, whose owners are Ozoliņš and Puče. Puči and Ozoliņa are connected not only by business management, but also by books, because Puči is the author of several biographical books about Ozoliņa.
“This particular person in my world has died. It’s like that about the dead – good or nothing. Accordingly, there has been quite a lot of good, but the other side… I leave it in a bullet point,” Puche said. “I don’t see the need to tell something here, to show, to straighten up, to fluff feathers or, on the contrary, to regret something. It’s not mine, I don’t need it.”
“I did these things for 23 years, I liked it and I did it from the heart, it also worked. Everything else doesn’t particularly concern me at the moment. I’ve done everything to have a pretty good feeling,” said Puche. “Let’s not develop this topic, because sooner or later we will come back to what I said. In my world, this person is dead and I’m sticking to it. It’s easy for me. One [“Facebook”] I deleted the post because it was a story about ‘good or nothing’, that post belonged more to – ‘nothing’.”
