The Verstappen Racing team has announced a multi-year partnership with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport.
Verstappen Racing will continue to operate in the GT World Challenge Europe series. From 2026, it will switch to Mercedes-AMG GT3 cars in both the Sprint Cup and Endurance Cup championships.
The program will be implemented in cooperation with the experienced team 2 Seas Motorsport.
“We are delighted that the Verstappen Racing team has chosen the Mercedes-AMG GT3 to compete in GT World Challenge Europe,” said Mercedes-AMG Customer Program Manager Stefan Wendl.
“Thanks to 2 Seas Motorsport, the project has the support of a highly experienced team who have already achieved many successes and championship titles with our car.”
Chris Lulham will continue with Verstappen Racing in the Sprint Cup for the second consecutive season.
The experienced Daniel Juncadella will be the new reinforcement.
They will be joined by Mercedes factory driver Jules Gounon for endurance races, including the 24 Hours of Spa.
