Jake Paul may not (yet?) have the level of a world boxing champion – his fight against Anthony Joshua on December 19 in Miami proved it – but the short-lived “Dirk” from the series “Frankie and Paige” on the Dysney Channel is indeed an expert on social networks. This last week proves it.
If his fight broadcast on Netflix against the former British heavyweight world champion ended in a knockout in the 6th round, a jaw broken in two and the installation of titanium plates in his mouth, the 28-year-old American, followed by nearly 28 million people on Instagram, has further increased his notoriety (and the wealth of his bank account).
“Like a baseball”
Defeated in the ring, Jake Paul has not hesitated, since his defeat, to share images of his face, his jaw x-rays and recently a short interview, relayed in particular by the spanish daily Mark or the Argentinian Olewhere he appears with a face swollen from the operation. “I gave everything. My jaw was hit, the doctor says it’s broken…I’m doing the best I can.” : he explains, struggling to express himself and this time, without boasting, unlike the day after the fight when he said he was ready to get back into the ring in 10 days.
Questioned by his brother Logan in the latter’s podcast, Jake Paul was even more talkative and outspoken about his pain. It must be said that installing titanium plates and pulling out a few teeth should not help you enjoy the Christmas turkey. “It’s like there’s a baseball in there.” Four titanium plates. It’s literally broken, man, completely broken.”exposed the executioner of old Mike Tyson, also explaining having to make do with liquid food.

But in other publications, the YouTuber turned professional boxer (14 fights, 12 victories, 2 defeats) displays a disconcerting relaxation, sometimes in his living room without any apparent stigma or outside, fishing on a frozen lake, always alongside his brother. Such is the life of Jake Paul, his jaw broken but always smiling.
