Crazy evening in the Frost Bank Center on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday. A few hours before Christmas Eve, the San Antonio Spurs took on the reigning NBA champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder players (130-110). After the final whistle, Victor Wembanyama accompanied by the group of Spurs Jackals supporters initiated a clapping which resonated throughout the room. A first in the history of the NBA which generated strong reactions.
Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs could well be the pet peeves of the‘Oklahoma City Thunder. In the semi-final of NBA Cup (111-109), the franchise of Saint Anthony had already got the better of the champions NBA in title. In the Frost Bank Center, the team of Mitch Johnson was once again higher than that of Mark Daigneault. As Christmas approaches, Spurs gave their supporters a big gift with a difference of 20 points in the final score (130-110).
