The relationship of former Serbian tennis star Ana Ivanović and German soccer player Bastian Schweinsteiger was considered one of the most harmonious in the sports world for many years. However, according to the latest information from the German media, their marriage is headed for divorce after nine years.

According to several German sources, Ivanovičová should have filed for divorce at the Municipal Court in Munich in November. At the same time, she was supposed to file a motion regarding child support at the court in Mallorca, where the family lived for a long time.
This suggests that the divorce proceedings could take place in two countries – in Germany and in Spain – which greatly complicates the whole process.
Bastian Schweinsteiger’s alleged infidelity is cited by the media as the main cause of the marriage breakup. The former German international has been photographed several times in the company of another woman in recent months, which has sparked a wave of speculation and subsequently questions about the state of his marriage.
According to behind-the-scenes information, these photos were supposed to fundamentally break the trust between the spouses.
