A late goal Moreoo allows the Pisa to snatch the equal to Cagliari (2-2). Heavy point for Gilardino’s team, their eighth draw in the championship. Cagliari throws away the victory after recovering with Folorunsho and Kilicsoy the Tuscans’ initial lead signed by Tramoni on a penalty.
Tramoni scores on rigor
The visiting team immediately started with their foot on the accelerator with a free kick from Tramoni, who almost risked causing an own goal from Obert. The rossoblù react with Palestra who, after having missed Caracciolo with a sombrero, goes to shoot but is blocked by Semper. In the 11th minute Gaetano takes charge and unleashes a nice right-footed shot that goes just wide. Pisa continues to push and in the 17th minute they come close to scoring with Tramoni: Piccinini takes advantage of an error by Obert and serves the former Brescia player, who however shoots with little conviction from an excellent position. Even in the 23rd minute the Tuscans became dangerous, in this case with a backheel deflection by Bonfanti who, following the development of a corner, risked mocking Caprile. At the end of the first half Cagliari made a comeback with Kilicsoy, but the Nerazzurri took the lead on a penalty kick: after Adopo’s handball, Matteo Tramoni beats Caprile and it makes it 1-0 a few seconds before half-time.
Cagliari’s comeback
In the second half, Pisacane’s men returned to the field with a different attitude and, after an attempt by Esposito, they grabbed the equalizer in the 59th minute with Folorunsho: the midfielder, following a cross from the newly substitute Zappa, found the winning shot, colliding with the post and was subsequently forced off due to injury. The script of the match has totally changed and the rossoblù try to ride the positive moment with the conclusions of Deiola and Gaetano, which however are imprecise. In the long run, Cagliari’s efforts bring the desired results, as in the 71st minute Kilicsoy turns the score around scoring his first goal in Serie A with a powerful right-footed shot under the crossbar.
Moreo freezes Cagliari
Pisa didn’t give up and attacked with their heads down, driven by the fresh forces sent onto the field by Alberto Gilardino. One minute into the 90th minute, new substitute Stefano Moreo, served by Leris, finishes with first intention and freezes Unipol Domus. In the 6′ of added time, Meister came close to scoring a breakthrough for the guests, but the match ended in a draw at 2-2.
