Hugo Ekitike appears as a carrier Liverpoolamidst the dimness Mohamed Salah And Alexander Isak. Legendary English striker Wayne Rooney praised him.
Ekitike became Liverpool’s most successful summer signing. He has now collected 11 goals from 24 appearances in all competitions, eight of them in the Premier League.

His name rose amidst the decline of Mohamed Salah and the slow start of Alexander Isak, who was also brought in at the same time as Ekitike. Five goals in Ekitike’s last three Premier League appearances have helped Liverpool close to Chelsea in the top four.
Former Everton and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney believes Ekitike has overcome big challenges when he joined Liverpool. He has overcome the difficult part of joining a big team with a big price tag.
“He has been one of the best signings, if not the best, in the Premier League,” said Rooney in a broadcast on the BBC.
“And kudos to him, because the pressure on him must have been huge because obviously he costs a lot of money too, but with Liverpool bringing in Wirtz and Isak, there’s huge pressure on him to try to get into the team.”
“And so far he has been the most consistent player for them in terms of scoring goals and his overall game is very good. And he plays with an attitude that I like also on the pitch,” he added.
