Coinciding with the debut of the OnePlus 15R smartphone and the OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet, OnePlus has also officially announced the new OnePlus Watch Lite. It is a smartwatch designed for a wider audience: compared to the other models in the range it does not use Wear OS, but offers a more accessible price, numerous functions dedicated to health and fitness and an autonomy of up to 10 days.

As anticipated, OnePlus Watch Lite presents itself as a real one personal wellness coachthanks to a particularly complete set of features. Among these stands out 60-seconds Wellness Overviewwhich provides a quick overview of your health by monitoring parameters related to your heart, sleep and mental well-being.

The device offers advanced heart health monitoring, including resting and real-time heart rate, as well as measuring SpO2 levels. There is also a sleep analysis system that returns a score based on overall duration, sleep phases and wrist temperature.

There is no lack of monitoring of stress and mental well-being, supported by the function Mind and Body Evaluationwhich analyzes the trend of the data collected to evaluate daily stress and energy levels, providing continuous feedback throughout the day.

Sports and physical activity

OnePlus Watch Lite supporta oltre 100 training modeshe understood 12 professional sports disciplines such as running, tennis, badminton and jumping rope. In particular, for badminton the smartwatch is able to analyze swing speed, distribution and type of shots thanks to algorithms developed on the data of professional athletes.

Among the functions dedicated to running we also find the automatic lactate threshold detectionuseful for analyzing post-workout performance and improving the effectiveness of training. In support there is a Dual frequency GPSwhich ensures precise route tracking, as well as compatibility with supported gym equipment.

Software and autonomy

The smartwatch uses a Custom RTOS with OxygenOS Watch 7.1designed to offer a good balance between performance, functions and energy consumption. Among the software features, the Dual Phone Pairingwhich allows you to connect two Android devices or an Android device and an iPhone at the same time. According to OnePlus, the autonomy can reach up to 10 days with a single charge.

Design e display

From an aesthetic point of view, OnePlus Watch Lite has been designed to be worn comfortably all day and even during the night. The body is thin (8.9 mm) and light (35 grams), with a 45mm circular stainless steel case and certification IP68.

The display is a 1.46 inch AMOLEDvery bright and well defined, with a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits in Sport modeideal for use in direct sunlight. The panel supports the technology Aqua Touchwhich allows it to be used even with wet hands, and you can choose from more 350 dials available at launch.
